Action Propane was opened in Leander in 1984.  With hard work and long hours, Wanda and the late Murray Hoggarth turned their small propane business into a very successful venture. Murray and Wanda have both served on the Texas Propane Association.  Wanda is still very active in her church and community through volunteering and offering her time and assets back to the people who have made them successful.

WE INSTALL GAS PIPING FOR NEW & EXISTING HOMES

We specialize in propane gas piping. Whether you are building a new home or retro-fitting your electrically powered home, we can run the piping for you.  Using propane instead of electricity in your house can save you 40% to 50% on your utility bill. State law requires the yard gasline to be buried 12 inches to 18 inches deep.  We own both a rock saw and a trencher, which means all the piping is legal.  From the tank to the house, we sleeve our piping in one inch PVC piping. Making sure the propane tank and piping are properly installed ensures years of trouble-free service. We pressure test to make sure there are no leaks in your system.  We high-pressure test for at least 24 hours and the low-pressure test takes about 30 minutes.
